I chose nut because she is a very important god in the Egyptians eyes. She is held up by Shu, while wearing a blue dress with stars on it. She was first believed to be the god of the sky during the day, such as the clouds. But nowadays she is the god of the sky and the Heavens. According to legend she gave birth to five children on the five extra days of the year. On the first day she gave birth to Osiris-the unlucky day. On the second day she gave birth to Horus-this day was not lucky or unlucky. On the third day Set-an unlucky day and on the fourth it was Isis-A lucky day. And finally on the fifth day she gave birth to Nemphthys-an unlucky day. She is also the daughter of Shu and Tefnut. Not to mention the father of her kids, formally known as her husband, Geb the Earth god.

Supposedly she also swallowed the sun god Re and rebirthed him every morning as she swallowed the stars and rebirthed them every night. It was believed that Geb and her were seperated during the day so then at night she came down to meet him witch caused darkness. And if it stormed she had somewhat became closer to him. Her husband, Geb, is also her brother.Because she gave birth to the same son everyday she was somewhat connected to the underworld. You will often see her face on the inside of a tomb. This was because she was believed to protect you and help you to be reborn.

So if i were to build her a temple i would make it ontop of a hill to represent her on earth-Geb-her husband and so its closer to the clouds and heavens than the regular flat ground. I would also put in little shrines to her five children. Then i would make it a two story building the second story would be used for a
